Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and advocate for animal rights in the United States. Ali MacGraw is famous for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. In New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. Her first position was an assistant to photographers. She then moved on to modeling and acting. Her first two movies her name was acknowledged and won an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw became an international superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. After only three movies MacGraw was named the most successful female in box office history. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were immortalized in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw was divorced three times.
