Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is known as a well-known American cookbook author for a number of decades. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina was employed for the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policy documents and the budget. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual stimulation of her job, but soon began to lose enthusiasm. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. Prior to selling the company it took her 18 years building it into a highly successful store. Then, a number of cookbooks were published, and she also wrote columns for magazines. Meanwhile, her Food Network television show too made its debut and became an instant hit. Additionally, she sells items that range from food items to storage containers and tools. Ina is a self-taught cook who has never attended a cooking school, nor worked in a kitchen. Ina is well-known for her easy way of entertaining and easy food preparation. Some of her best known recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
