Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress who is well-known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her professional career as an actor on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Then, in 1956 she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway with Li'l Abner. In the same year, she recorded her first album of music It's the Time for Tina. Louise first made it to Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre a 1957 drama film. This film became a big hit and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In the years prior to this she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. Her next role that she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her to play in the year 1964. Louise had a long and successful career that combines Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to the glamour doll image she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's made a name as a producer on a variety of popular TV shows like Supernatural. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 28th August 1965, her family relocated to Toronto when she was three. She spent her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Then she settled in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
