Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she coaches athletes. Annie is the first female who has been crowned winner of CrossFit Games in two consecutive years. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit as well as a popular media personality. The popular athlete is the first woman who won in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Other accomplishments includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was born in Iceland, Reykjavik along with her parents and siblings. Since a young age, Annie was a huge sports enthusiast and was a fan of doing exercises. She won many medals at school events. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in 2009. She did well in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir, as of 2021, is 31 years old. She's 5'7 and weighs 67 kg. Annie was the first to begin CrossFit training in California in the year 2009. Her performance was impressive in her initial games. She was within the top 10 of 70 competitors. Although she didn't achieve any title however she was able to finish in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed second and took home an Olympic silver medal that same year. In the following year she was a participant in another CrossFit games and because of her impressive performance, she took home the competition becoming the first female to win CrossFit Games. Annie is the only female who has ever won successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. She also received a medal of silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Presently Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie was a well-known athlete following her recognition. She's worked on behalf of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae among others. There are a few thousand subscribers to her own Youtube Channel where training videos, travel vlogs and family videos are uploaded.
